Adventure Vacation!

Day 1

Depart home . Movie party in the car!  Lunch at Falls Park, Sioux Falls, SD.  McD’s (or other)!  Cool waterfalls, lots of green space.  

1pm.  Nap time Depart

4:30 arrive Chamberlain, SD.  Swim. Throw rocks in giant lake. Lewis and clark visitor center?  Dinner.  

Pool. Hot Tub. Dinner. River View.

Day 2

Hot Cont. Breakfast

Depart 9am.  Movie party in the car!  2hr drive.  Arrive Badlands National Park 11am.  

Picnic lunch in the badlands!  

Hike and explore the badlands!  Kid friendly zone.

Badlands Loop takes about 1hr driving without stopping.

Depart around 2 - 3pmish.  (Skip Wall Drug).

1 1/2 hr drive to hill city. Check in around 3pm.

Palmer Gulch KOA resort.  Large campground.  Kids swimming pool, waterslide, mini golf included (score!), horse back rides.  Piles of stuff to do.

2 nights.  

Day 3

Drive to Custer 1hr.  

Wildlife loop. See BUFFALO.  1 hr.  
Needles highway 45mins.  

Sylvan lake.  Hike, swim, explore.  Late picnic lunch. 

Winery and breweries in Hill City.  Hill City Jumper Station. Prairie Berry Winery.  Get Naked Winery.  Twisted Skull Brewery.

Swim and dinner at resort.  Or dinner in hill city.

Night 2 at Palmer Gulch cabin.

Day 4

Rapid City Adventure Day - what do you want to do?

Dinosaur Park. Dinosaur museum.  Storybrook park. 

Rapid City to Elkhorn Ridge is 30 mins.  3pm check in.

Resort night life.  (golf course bar and grill is niiiiice.)

Day 5

Black Hills Deadwood Adventure Day - what do you want to do?

Devils tower WY road trip.  1/2 day round trip with hike stop around the tower. 

Otherwise Hike and Golf.  Drive the Spearfish Canyon highway. Enjoy the resort swimming pool. Fish. Spa. Gamble.

Day 6

Drive home after an epic adventure vacation!
